Wedding Photography at The Manor House Hotel

I love shooting at the manor house Hotel. It is a former country house owned by the Eden family. With a long history in the area. There’s not a lot I can say in this blog. That I haven’t said in the others from this wedding venue.

The Manor house hotel was formerly known as West Auckland Hall.
The hotel sits in the heart of County Durham. Just outside of Bishop Auckland. 12 miles north of Darlington and 14 miles from Durham. The manor house hotel has a range of facilities including a health spa, contemporary restaurant, and several bars.

Leah and ben specifically requested a more candid approach to their wedding photography. This is fine with me. I love shooting candidly. That, and it was raining. The joys of a November wedding!
Not the nice kind of rain you can make epic photographs in. But that awful sideways almost frozen rain.
There’s something about unposed moments in photography, they feel more real.
