Leanne and Ralph were married at the Grade 1 listed building. That plays home to Durham Registry office, Aykley heads House. They married in the main ceremony room which holds roughly 40 guests when at capacity. They then travelled to Durham Amatuer rowing club, where their reception and evening party was held.

1860 Bat & Kitchen is part of Durham Amatuer rowing club. home to the annual Durham regatta. Nestled on a bend on the river wear, Durham Amateur Rowing club plays hosts to many events. The Durham Regatta and of course, weddings.
